Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with a reliable attendance record
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and excellent patient communication skills
• BSN not required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical standards
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-centered care environment
• Respond appropriately to changing patient needs and prioritize care during the shift
