Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician / Gastroenterologist
• Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
• Setting: Hospital-based clinic and scheduled procedures
• Schedule: Day shift, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage Model: Flexible week-on/week-off option
• Call: No call
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,290 - $7,450
• Start Date: 11/1/2026
• Duration: Ongoing locum tenens coverage
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Board Certification: Required
• Support: APC support in clinic and EPIC orientation

Job Requirements

• Board-certified physician with experience in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical gastroenterology experience required
• Active and unrestricted medical license eligibility preferred
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Strong procedural skills preferred in upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and lower GI endoscopy
• Ability to work independently in a clinic and procedural environment
• ERCP and EUS are not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology care in a clinic and scheduled procedure setting
• Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy
• Complete routine GI consultations and follow-up care as needed
• Work efficiently with APC and procedural support staff
• Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the daily schedule
• Participate in orientation and credentialing to support seamless locum tenens coverage
• Deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital-based environment
