Job Requirements

• 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk OB experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support safe deliveries by responding quickly to changing clinical needs in a fast-paced L&D unit
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, obstetric staff, and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Deliver patient education and emotional support to families during labor, birth, and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices
• Contribute to a team-focused environment with attention to detail and clinical excellence
