Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Labor & Delivery RN experience required; high-risk L&D experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
- Monitor patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Support high-risk obstetric patients and respond appropriately to changing clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols
- Deliver patient-centered education and support to families throughout the birthing process
