Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel) – Modesto, CA 95356
Join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse travel team in Modesto, California, and provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced, rewarding clinical setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working 12-hour night shifts in a supportive environment. Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- High-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality maternal and newborn nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support safe deliveries and collaborate closely with the obstetrics care team during high-risk situations
- Perform assessments, document patient status, and maintain accurate clinical records
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
- Deliver compassionate care in a dynamic, fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
