Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Modesto, California

Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred or required per unit needs
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
- High-risk OB experience preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care to laboring patients and newborns in a Labor & Delivery unit
- Support patients through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care as assigned
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold unit standards for quality patient care
- Deliver exceptional patient education and emotional support throughout the birth experience
