Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent Registered Nurse experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk OB and obstetric nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Support physicians, OB teams, and clinical staff during high-risk deliveries and obstetric emergencies
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and document nursing care accurately and timely
- Educate and reassure patients and families during the birthing process
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes for mother and baby
