Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification preferred/required for consideration
• Labor & Delivery RN experience required; high-risk L&D experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
• Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and attentive care to laboring patients and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Assist with assessments, interventions, and care coordination in high-acuity situations
• Support patients, families, and the care team with clear communication and professionalism
• Respond appropriately to changing patient conditions and clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established hospital clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
