Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk OB experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
- Support safe, compassionate care in high-acuity obstetric and maternal-child health situations
- Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
- Respond appropriately to changing patient conditions and escalate concerns as needed
- Deliver patient education, emotional support, and family-centered care during labor and delivery
