Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Preferred: High-risk Labor & Delivery and High-Risk OB experience
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside nursing care to patients throughout the Labor & Delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Support safe, compassionate care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
- Deliver care in a high-acuity maternal-child health setting with professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established nursing protocols
