Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or a related procedural imaging setting
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
• ARRT(R) required
• ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• NIHSS required
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, contrast administration, fluoroscopy, and procedural imaging workflows

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures, including verification of identity, consent, allergies, and procedure readiness
• Assist physicians during vascular access, interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, interventional neurology, and electrophysiology procedures
• Monitor vital signs, distal pulses, and physiologic data before, during, and after procedures
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, fluoroscopy systems, and related procedural technology
• Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention practices throughout procedures
• Advocate for radiation safety and minimize patient and staff exposure in compliance with hospital standards
• Document fluoroscopy time, radiation dose, medications, and procedural details accurately in the medical record
• Provide post-procedural care, including puncture site support, dressing application, and closure device assistance
• Assist with image acquisition, processing, enhancement, and 3D reconstruction as needed
• Support training and provide practical instruction to students and clinical partners in a collaborative healthcare environment
