• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Additional Schedule Needs: Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience, preferably in CVOR or cardiac operating room settings
• Active Virginia Surgical Technologist credential/license (CST-VA)
• One or more of the following certifications: CERT-IAHCSMM/HSPA-CRCST, CERT-NAHP-NRCST, CERT-NBSTSA-CST, or CERT-NCCT-TS-C
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room workflow
• Ability to support a fast-paced cardiac surgery environment with professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment for cardiac cases
• Maintain a sterile field and assist the surgical team throughout procedures
• Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to policy
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide efficient intraoperative support
• Assist with patient preparation, room turnover, and post-procedure cleanup
• Provide on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
