Travel Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health Night Shift in Springfield, MO

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health nursing
- Comfort working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Experience with paper charting preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient behavioral health environment
- Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with behavioral health and mental health needs
- Monitor patients receiving detoxification, inpatient psychiatric, and residential-level care
- Support individualized care plans focused on stabilization, recovery, and discharge planning
- Deliver age-appropriate psychiatric nursing care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
- Document patient status accurately using paper charting workflows
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to maintain a therapeutic and supportive environment
- Respond effectively to changing patient needs while maintaining a calm, professional presence
