Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in behavioral health nursing or psychiatric nursing
• Experience caring for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors preferred
• Comfortable working in an inpatient psychiatric or acute behavioral health environment
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
• Paper charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, age-appropriate nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in behavioral health status
• Support stabilization through therapeutic, structured inpatient psychiatric care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility charting procedures
• Promote a safe, supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Assist with care coordination for patients transitioning to the appropriate next level of care
