Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab or invasive cardiovascular experience
• RCIS certification required
• BLS required
• ACLS required or must be obtained prior to direct patient care
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong experience in the scrub role preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with call coverage responsibilities
• Comfort working with patients across the lifespan, including adult and geriatric populations

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiovascular and invasive procedures in scrub, monitor, and float roles
• Provide safe, effective patient care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure workflows
• Interpret and document procedural data accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards
• Support moderate sedation care under physician supervision when applicable
• Operate and monitor imaging and hemodynamic equipment according to established protocols
• Maintain inventory, charge appropriately for supplies, and support efficient room readiness
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Assist with precepting new staff and students as needed
• Provide equitable participation in call coverage, including rapid response expectations for STEMI coverage
• Follow universal precautions and maintain a strong focus on patient safety, aseptic technique, and teamwork
