• Setting: Pediatric/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (PICU/CVPICU)
• Location: Columbus, OH 43205
• Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Pediatric Critical Care RN
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week / 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Start Date: 09/28/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• At least 1 year of PICU or CVPICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in a 30-bed or larger Pediatric Intensive Care Unit preferred
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management, arterial line care, hemodynamic monitoring, and central line management
• Ability to float to related pediatric critical care and stepdown units as needed
• Two supervisory references required, including at least one manager or supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric and cardiac patients with complex diagnoses
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, chest tubes, pacemaker wires, RA lines, and other specialized equipment
• Support post-surgical patients and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Perform detailed assessments, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care while adapting to floating assignments across approved units
