Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• All active certifications must be in hand; pending items are not accepted
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from within the past 12 months
• Willingness to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to meet pre-start compliance requirements and submit documentation on time

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality bedside nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and carry out physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and clinical documentation in the patient record
• Support a calm, efficient night shift workflow while prioritizing patient safety and quality care
• Deliver compassionate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
