Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Delaware, or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy clinical experience required
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered, team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Implement and modify therapy programs to support safe and effective progress toward discharge goals
• Provide discipline-specific therapy services with appropriate delegation and direction when needed
• Document evaluations, treatment progress, goals, and medical necessity clearly and accurately in a timely manner
• Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers to support recovery and long-term success
• Maintain compliance with state practice standards, organizational policies, and professional codes of conduct
• Promote a safe care environment for patients, coworkers, and visitors
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development
