Job Requirements
- Active Montana RN license required
- Experience in Labor & Delivery required
- Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics preferred
- NRP certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced obstetric and maternal-newborn setting
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient status
- Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope of practice
- Interpret fetal monitoring strips and communicate findings effectively
- Prepare patients for operative deliveries as needed
- Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
- Promote safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care for mothers and newborns
