• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,190 - $2,310
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Patient Population: Adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification preferred
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele or comparable acute care nursing experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Strong cardiac telemetry skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and monitoring
• Experience caring for adults with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, CHF exacerbation, UTI, and fall-related injuries
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with a collaborative interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately in the charting system
• Support patients with common medical and surgical needs, including respiratory and cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, PT, phlebotomy, radiology, and other support services
• Manage routine nursing interventions such as IV care, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and patient education
• Participate in rapid response or code team support when needed
• Promote a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
