Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care and maternal health environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies as needed
• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process, recovery, and newborn care
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiology, neonatal teams, and fellow nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to care
