Job Details

• Setting: Pediatric outpatient physical therapy in an acute care hospital environment
• Location: Apple Valley, California 92307
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Monday through Friday, day shift
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shift Window: Flexible daytime hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,060 - $2,210
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Experience working independently in a pediatric outpatient setting is strongly preferred
• Active California Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric outpatients using evidence-based physical therapy techniques
• Create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans, home exercises, and recovery goals
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
