• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Telemetry)
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Floating: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, or a closely related acute care setting
• Current Epic experience required
• Valid BLS certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to manage ports, PICC lines, central lines, and IV starts
• Strong comfort with infection prevention, fall prevention, and symptom management
• Oncology nursing or chemotherapy-related care experience preferred
• Must be able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, team-oriented hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients receiving oncology-related treatment and symptom management
• Monitor telemetry and assess patients for changes in cardiac rhythm and clinical status
• Administer medications and support care needs for complex medical-surgical patients
• Manage ports, central lines, PICCs, IV therapy, and related nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care
• Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall reduction initiatives
• Float to comparable oncology units when needed based on staffing and patient care needs
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while helping patients and families navigate treatment
