Job Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• All active certifications must be in hand at the time of submission
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Recent and relevant Med/Surg Telemetry experience preferred
• Ability to complete orientation requirements and unit-based assessments
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Perform thorough patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate findings to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and unit leadership to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a high standard of patient safety, professionalism, and clinical excellence
• Adapt to a busy telemetry unit while delivering organized, efficient nursing care
