• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 - $2,380
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: Every other week from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:00 AM
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Location: Midland, TX - a welcoming West Texas community with convenient access to local amenities and regional travel routes

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Siemens MRI experience strongly preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working with pediatric and adult patient populations
• Pending Texas license accepted with submission; license must be active before start date
• RTO required with submission; some holidays may be expected

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in a busy hospital imaging department with a daily census of approximately 50 patients
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Support a variety of exam types, including brain, abdomen, spine, breast, extremity, MRA, MRV, and contrast studies
• Prepare patients for scans and assist with contrast administration as indicated
• Maintain accurate documentation and help ensure efficient workflow within the radiology department
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and imaging team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Follow all department protocols for safety, infection control, and imaging quality
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
