JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Active Registered Nurse license
* BLS certification
* ACLS certification
* PALS certification
* NIH Stroke Scale certification
* Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond effectively in urgent and emergent situations
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
* Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition in a high-acuity ER setting
* Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
* Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient care and throughput
* Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
* Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
* Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment in a high-volume emergency department
