Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment

Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to changing patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status accurately and promptly
• Deliver compassionate patient and family education throughout the emergency care experience
