Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior pharmacy experience required
• Pharmacy Technician Certificate required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy or medication dispensing is preferred

Responsibilities

• File medication orders and delivery receipts accurately
• Compound or package medication orders according to pharmacy procedures
• Prepare medications for delivery and distribution
• Package medication cycle exchanges and prepare them for delivery
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and stock organization
• Run and file daily reports to support pharmacy operations
• Support coordination of daily and cycle fill workflow
• Perform all duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
• Assist in training new pharmacy technicians on duties, responsibilities, and pharmacy operations
• Complete additional pharmacy support duties as assigned
