Job Details

• Position: Travel CT Tech / CT Technologist
• Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
• Setting: Hospital / Acute Care Imaging
• Location: Arcata, CA
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours scheduled; 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Current California CRT certification required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• CT imaging experience in a hospital or clinical setting required
• Diagnostic imaging certification preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols
• Support fluoroscopy imaging services as needed
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exams clearly and compassionately
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for provider review
• Follow safety standards, imaging protocols, and infection control practices
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Participate in evening and weekend call coverage as assigned
