Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• American Heart Association ACLS certification
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• IBHRE certification
• Experience managing cardiac implantable electronic devices, including pacemakers and ICDs
• Experience with device platforms such as Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, and Boston Scientific
• Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG/EKG interpretation
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the cardiac care team
• Interrogate cardiac devices, monitor patient response, and adjust device settings per provider orders
• Manage remote device monitoring and troubleshoot device-related concerns
• Coordinate follow-up care for patients seen in the device clinic
• Maintain accurate device clinic databases and patient records
• Perform ordered diagnostic tests and treatments, including EKGs, event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch services
• Coordinate surgical and procedural care related to cardiac implantable electronic devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for MRI studies and other procedures involving device patients
• Educate patients and families on electrophysiology care, arrhythmia management, and ablation-related procedures
• Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
