Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ER/ED) nursing experience
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills in acute care settings
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment

Responsibilities – Emergency Room Nurse

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Perform triage, initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and clinical interventions for a diverse patient population
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond rapidly to emergencies and codes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, techs, social work) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families during high-acuity situations
