Gastroenterology Physician Requirements

• Board certification required
• Active Michigan medical license required
• DEA required by start date
• ERCP experience required
• At least 1 year of gastroenterology experience required
• Ability to provide 24-hour GI call coverage when scheduled
• Malpractice coverage required
• NPDB self-query required within 30 days of presentation
• Must be willing to submit complete rates at time of name clear
• Preferred: local provider

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology call coverage for scheduled blocks
• Perform ERCP procedures as needed
• Collaborate with hospitalists and other specialty providers to support patient care
• Respond to GI consults and manage inpatient gastrointestinal needs
• Work closely with a supportive clinical team in a well-connected community setting
• Maintain timely documentation and follow all credentialing and compliance requirements
