Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Louisville, Kentucky
• Healthcare Setting: On-site acute-care hospital; inpatient telemetry unit
• Assignment: 14-week travel Registered Nurse assignment
• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• Schedule: Full time; 3 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,011–$2,235

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of acute inpatient Registered Nurse or telemetry nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Nursing diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend

Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments according to policy and patient condition.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care for acute-care and telemetry patients.
• Monitor patients’ responses to clinical interventions and document nursing care accurately.
• Provide safe, patient- and family-centered care in an inpatient telemetry setting.
• Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary services to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, care needs, and discharge planning.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and non-licensed team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practice, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and patient safety.
• Support teamwork and contribute to a positive clinical environment through mentoring and precepting when appropriate.
