Job description
Ready to take your acute care experience beyond the four walls of the hospital?
We’re partnering with a leading nonprofit academic health system in the Philadelphia area to hire multiple Full-Time Home Health RNs across:
- Center City
- Southwest Philadelphia
- City Line / Main Line / West Philadelphia
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced acute care nurses who enjoy complex patients but are looking for more autonomy, greater control over their day, and meaningful one-on-one patient care.
Why nurses are interested in this opportunity:
- $98,000–$123,780/year, based on RN experience
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM schedule
- Mileage reimbursement at the applicable IRS rate — currently up to approximately $0.75/mile
- Combination of self-scheduling and scheduler support
- Work independently in the field while still having the resources of a major academic health system and interdisciplinary clinical team behind you
- Opportunity to develop stronger assessment, care coordination, clinical decision-making, and patient education skills
This is skilled, high-acuity home health — not private duty nursing.
You’ll independently manage a caseload of patients who still require a strong acute-care clinical skill set, allowing you to build deeper relationships with patients and families while having greater ownership over how you structure your day.
Great backgrounds include:
Med/Surg
Telemetry
Emergency Department
ICU / Critical Care
Skilled Home Health
Qualifications:
• Active PA RN license
• BLS/CPR
• BSN with relevant RN experience or experienced ASN-prepared RN
• Strong acute care or skilled home health background
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
If you’re an experienced hospital RN who enjoys clinical complexity but is ready for more independence, more one-on-one patient interaction, and a Monday–Friday lifestyle, I’d love to connect.
