Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Job – General Anesthesiology Opportunity

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050-$3,550
• Location: Houston, Texas
• Start Date: 11/1/2026
• End Date: 4/18/2027
• Duration: 24 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7A-5P, with weekend and holiday call coverage from 7A-7A
• Case Mix: Trauma, cardiac anesthesia, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, and Level III NICU coverage
• Setting: Busy hospital-based anesthesiology practice with a collaborative care team model

Job Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
• 1+ year of anesthesiology experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered
• Comfort supervising CRNAs within a care team model
• Ability to manage a broad range of surgical and specialty cases
• Commitment to safe, patient-centered anesthesia care

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across a broad and varied surgical case mix
• Supervise 1 to 3 operating rooms as part of a collaborative anesthesia care team
• Support weekday coverage and participate in weekend and holiday call coverage as scheduled
• Work closely with CRNAs and the broader perioperative team to maintain efficient workflow
• Contribute to high-quality care for complex surgical and specialty patients in a Houston hospital setting
