We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our GI Hospitalist team in Staten Island, New York.
This is an opportunity to focus on inpatient gastroenterology in a supportive community hospital environment with strong resident and nursing support. The GI Hospitalist works a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule, providing 24-hour service coverage while typically working (scoping and rounding) approximately 6–8 hours per day. The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist who is comfortable managing the breadth of general inpatient GI. We offer a team-oriented environment where gastroenterologists have the support of residents and a highly regarded nursing staff, helping physicians focus on patient care.
Why Staten Island?
Staten Island offers a unique combination of New York City access and a more community-oriented lifestyle, with convenient commuting options from Brooklyn and parts of New Jersey. Physicians can enjoy a more relaxed pace while remaining within easy reach of Manhattan and the rest of the New York metropolitan area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Gastroenterologist looking for a predictable 1-on/1-off schedule, strong clinical support, and a primarily inpatient-focused practice.
