• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960-$2,280
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Healthcare Setting: High-acuity emergency department

Job Requirements

• Emergency department or emergency room experience preferred
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Diploma of Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
• Ability to provide age-specific and culturally competent care
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
• Provide culturally based and age-specific care in a high-acuity emergency department
• Communicate effectively with peers and other members of the healthcare team
• Provide age-specific and culturally competent patient care and education
• Adhere to the ANA code of ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act scope of practice requirements
• Support a patient- and family-centered model of care that promotes an ongoing partnership between patients, families, and the healthcare team
