Locum Tenens Gastroenterology Physician in Des Moines, IA
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa. This role offers a dynamic hospital environment where you will provide inpatient care and perform specialized gastroenterological procedures.
Job Details
- Location: Des Moines, IA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for locum to perm
- Shift: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
- Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
- Setting: Hospital-based coverage
Job Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency
- Active IA License or IMLC
- ACLS Certification
- Experience with ERCP required; EUS highly preferred
- COVID Vaccine
- Clean Malpractice/Background strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care and consultations
- Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures per day
- Conduct inpatient procedures
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage
