Job description
Join a reputable healthcare facility in Kalamazoo for an engaging 13-week travel contract as an RN specializing in cardiac and surgical nursing. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced unit where you'll be involved in a variety of adult patient cases, including trauma, general surgery, and cardiology. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team during 12-hour day shifts, providing essential post-operative care, sheath removals, TAVR procedures, and more. No two days are the same, and while the work is challenging, the impact you make is deeply rewarding—plus, no open-heart cases mean a focus on specialized, targeted interventions. Experience with BiPAP, CBI, TURP, PCA, and managing aneurysms or EVD is preferred, with a minimum of two years of ICU or cardiac nursing experience recommended.
