Shift: 12-hour days
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36 guaranteed (may accept up to 48) with overtime after 52 hours on 48hr contracts.
Please note: Cross-campus float to Deaconess Newburgh (8 miles away) and potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (11 miles). Every other weekend and holiday work are required. Certification in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS is mandatory, along with a minimum of two years’ cardiac/telemetry experience. Recent EPIC charting experience and proficiency in interpreting 12-lead ECGs are essential for success. The unit has 41 beds, with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-7 at night.
