Job description
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department of a busy Level 2 trauma center located in Rapid City, South Dakota. This contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll manage a diverse patient population, including neonates, geriatrics, and critically ill trauma patients. Expect to see over 150 patients daily, from minor issues to life-threatening emergencies such as strokes, sepsis, and severe trauma cases. Your role will involve triage, critical thinking, and prioritization, with an emphasis on evidence collection for sexual assault cases, in collaboration with expert resource support. The shift structure varies, with potential to work day or night shifts during a 13-week assignment, giving you a chance to experience all facets of emergency care in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
