Join our team as a Medical-Surgical Tele Registered Nurse in Chesapeake, VA, for a 13-week contract on the post-surgical unit. You’ll be working night shifts, 12 hours each, providing care for urology and GYN surgical patients. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in high-volume environments and are comfortable managing patient ratios around 1:7. It’s a hands-on position that offers the chance to experience a busy, rewarding unit with a focus on post-surgical recovery. Expect to work every other weekend, float within the unit, and participate in two winter holidays. The schedule offers some flexibility with 3x12s or 4x12s shifts, paying overtime after 48 hours. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to refine your skills in a supportive setting while exploring the beautiful Coastal Virginia area, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
