The role requires handling ventilated patients, including those with trachs, external pacemakers, and complex cardiac interventions. RNs are expected to read and interpret Philips monitoring strips and work collaboratively with charge nurses, house supervisors, and patient care techs. Previous experience with VADs, transplants, or immediate post-op cardiac patients is a bonus but not required.
