Telemetry RN in Salisbury, North Carolina

Join a fast-paced, specialized cardiac telemetry unit as a registered nurse for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. This role offers the chance to work with post-procedure cardiac patients, including those with pacemakers, ICDs, and on various drips such as Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone. You'll be part of a team that handles a high volume of patient turnover and manages complex cases, including COVID-positive patients using opti-flow and Bipap. The position requires prior experience in similar settings, strong proficiency with telemetry and cardiac procedures, and certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. This assignment is unique due to its dynamic environment, high patient acuity, and the opportunity to work independently with support from a team lead. RTO is not permitted after booking, and on-call requirements add to the engaging workload, giving you a chance to sharpen your skills in a challenging yet rewarding setting.
