Job description
This travel assignment is focused on supporting pediatric, psychiatric, stroke, heart, sports injury, and MVA patients within a 17-bed unit. The role involves managing complex respiratory care, including vent and trach care, as well as ICU drip maintenance such as chest tubes, art lines, CVLs, and PICCs. You will work alongside dedicated support staff and a dynamic team of medical professionals, including emergency care techs and LPNs, on 12-hour mids shifts. This is an opportunity to enhance your skills in a fast-paced environment while working with advanced medical equipment like Cerner EMR and Plum 360 IV pumps. The assignment offers a unique chance to develop proficiency in specialized patient care, with appropriate support and orientation to ensure success.
