Job description
Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Lee's Summit, MO, on a 13-week travel contract. You will be working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing specialized care in a combined L&D and postpartum unit. This role involves managing antepartum and intrapartum patients, assisting with high-risk and low-risk deliveries, and performing a variety of obstetrical assessments and interventions. Experience with fetal monitoring, sterile exams, and postpartum procedures is essential. The unit features 11 labor rooms and 5 triage rooms, with a patient census averaging 7-10. You’ll work in a setting that balances clinical expertise with a playfully supportive atmosphere, ensuring a rewarding and hands-on experience in maternal health care.
