Job description
Join a specialized 13-week assignment in Charlottesville, VA, as a Medical Surgical - Neuro Registered Nurse. You'll be caring for patients in a 30-bed Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery acute care unit, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role involves clinical review and collaborating with a team to manage a patient ratio of 1:4. The schedule features every other weekend, with specific considerations around winter holidays and flexible time-off options. Epic experience and BLS, NIHSS certifications are required, along with adherence to UVA's float policy. A VA license is acceptable pending, and this assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience the complexities of neuro surgical care firsthand.
