Job description
Join a 13-week travel contract as a Med Surg/Tele RN at a facility in Statesboro, Georgia. This role involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend, with floating between Med Surg and Tele departments based on unit needs. The assignment offers a chance to work with a case mix that includes orthopedic, postoperative, CHF, and respiratory patients, often monitored remotely via telemetry. Your responsibilities will focus on delivering patient care adhering to established nursing practices, utilizing Cerner EMR, and ensuring medication safety through bedside scanning. Recent experience in an acute care setting, proficiency with Cerner, and a minimum of 2 years’ nursing background are required, along with current BLS certification. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $75, with an estimated weekly gross of $1,617.18.
