Job description

Join our ICU travel team in Long Beach, California, for a 13-week assignment working 12-hour night shifts. This role is perfect for experienced ICU nurses ready to take on a high-acuity environment with patients suffering from conditions like neuro, cardiac, and sepsis. Expect to work in a well-equipped unit with a patient ratio of 2:1, where you'll interpret your own EKG strips, manage ventilators, and administer pressors and sedation. You'll collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists, participate in unit huddles, and gain valuable first-hand experience in complex critical care cases. The assignment requires availability on major holidays, rotating weekends, and a preference for nurses with at least three years of experience. You'll be part of a team that values professionalism and expertise, with specific orientation designed to familiarize you with the ICU protocols, EMR systems, and patient population.
