Job description
This 20-week travel assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia, offers an exciting opportunity for experienced IMU RN professionals. Working 12-hour days on a schedule that includes at least one major holiday, you'll be providing care in a specialized IMCU setting with a mix of cardiac, neuro, and med-surg patients. Prior charge experience and strong Cerner skills are preferred, and you'll be expected to participate actively in student and new hire interactions, contributing to a teaching hospital environment. The role involves handling acuity-level care, including neuro and CVA cases, with the flexibility of up to 48-hour contracts and weekend work considerations. Travel experience is required, as well as active Virginia or Compact licensure. This assignment is tailored for those ready to make a meaningful impact during a busy hospital season, with orientations occurring every other Monday.
